SABOURAUD GLUCOSE AGAR W/ANTIBIOTICS
-Dissolve 65 grams in 995 ml distilled water.
-Heat to boiling to dissolve the medium completely.
-Sterilize by autoclaving at 15 psi pressure (121°C) for 15 minutes.
-Aseptically add rehydrated contents of 1 vial of Tetracycline Selective Supplement.
-Mix well and pour into sterile Petri plates.
Note: Some pathogenic fungi may produce infective spores, which are easily dispersed in air, so examition should be carried out in safety cabinet.
