Potassium Nitrate, Extra Pure

Potassium Nitrate Extra Pure is an inorganic compound with the chemical formula KNO₃. It gives plants the two key nutrients potassium (K+) and nitrate (NO3-). This combination makes potassium nitrate particularly useful in plant nutrition and fertilizer applications. Plants need potassium for several key physiological functions, and nitrogen helps plants grow and develop. When nitrate based nutrition is preferred potassium nitrate is useful as it provides nitrogen in the nitrate form. Also it offers potassium from the nutrient solution without chloride ions. The pH of 1M solution at 25°C is specified to be 5.0-8.0, which is the defined range for its aqueous solution.
