KF STREPTOCOCCAL BROTH BASE
-Dissolve 57.05 grams in 1000 ml purified/distilled water.
-Heat if necessary to dissolve the medium completely.
-Dispense in to tubes or flasks as desired.
-Sterilize by autoclaving at 15 psi pressure (121°C) for 10 minutes.
-Cool to 45-50°C. If desired, for use in the membrane filter technique, 1 ml of 1% 2,3,5 Triphenyl Tetrazolium Chloride (TTC) may be added to each 100 ml of sterile cooled broth.
-Dissolve 57.05 grams in 1000 ml purified/distilled water.
-Heat if necessary to dissolve the medium completely.
-Dispense in to tubes or flasks as desired.
-Sterilize by autoclaving at 15 psi pressure (121°C) for 10 minutes.
-Cool to 45-50°C. If desired, for use in the membrane filter technique, 1 ml of 1% 2,3,5 Triphenyl Tetrazolium Chloride (TTC) may be added to each 100 ml of sterile cooled broth.
