CHROMOGENIC VRE MEDIA BAS
-Suspend 50.95 grams in 1000 ml distilled water.
-Gently heat with swirling to dissolve the medium completely.
-Sterilize by autoclaving at 15 psi pressure (121°C) for 15 minutes.
-Cool at 40 - 50ºC.
-Aseptically add rehydrated contents of 2 vials of Chromogenic VRE Agar Supplement (TS 253).
-Mix well and pour into sterile Petri plates.
