CHROMOGENIC ENTEROCOCCUS FAECIUM AGAR BASE (Store below 8° C)
-Suspend 54.20 grams in 1000 ml distilled water. -Gently heat to boiling with swirling to dissolve the medium completely. Do not autoclave. -Cool at 40 - 50oC. -Aseptically add rehydrated contents of 2 vials of Chromogenic Enterococcus Faecium Selective Supplement (TS 215). -Mix well and pour into sterile Petri plates.
