Casein Enzymatic Hydrolysate (Type-I) is an enzymatic digest of milk protein, it is rich source of amino nitrogen. It is used to support the growth of fastidious microorganisms and also suitable for use in media for fermentation studies. It is Off white to creamish yellow colour, free flowing powder having characteristic odour but not pungent smell, Soluble in distilled Water, Clear. Insoluble in alcohol.
