ANTIBIOTIC ASSAY MEDIUM No 36
-Dissolve 40.0 grams in 1000 ml purified / distilled water.
-Heat to boiling to dissolve the medium completely.
-Sterilize by autoclaving at 15 psi pressure (121°C) for 15 minutes.
-If desired aseptically add 5% v/v defibrited blood in previously cooled medium at 45 - 50°C. Mix well before pouring.
